Danny Singh

In this often amusing interview Dhian explains how he became known as Danny, after joining Raleigh in 1960. He talks about being the first Indian employee; his work as a Tabulator Operator in Payments; and about working on the very first computers. His work at the company, for over thirty years, meant that he had to keep abreast of radical technological advances which often meant working very long hours; such as the lead up to the dreaded year 2000 when it was feared that the entire computer system would collapse.
